Google Workspace Cancellation Policy

You can request the cancellation of your CommandHost Google Workspace services at any time. Because Google Workspace is provisioned through our partner access, specific billing and data retention rules apply to these cancellations.

30-Day Notice Period & Billing

All Google Workspace cancellations are subject to a strict 30-day notification period. Your account will remain active and will continue to be billed during these 30 days.

If an invoice is generated or paid during this 30-day window, your account will be issued a prorated credit for the remaining days after your official termination date.

Cancellation Example:

  • Notice Submitted: 18 September

  • Next Invoice Period: 1 October – 31 October (Already issued/sent)

  • Official Service Termination: 18 October (Exactly 30 days after notice)

  • Billing Adjustment: Your account will be billed for the active period (1 October – 17 October), and a credit will be applied to your account for the remaining difference (18 October – 31 October).

Removing Individual Google Workspace Users

If you have multiple Google Workspace users/licenses under your account and only want to reduce your headcount:

  • How to request: Submit a service cancellation request for each specific Google Workspace user you wish to remove via your CommandHost client area.

  • Data Warning: Once a user license is deleted, all associated Google Workspace data (emails, Drive files, calendar events) is permanently unrecoverable. Please ensure you back up or migrate all user data prior to submitting this request.

Cancelling Your Master Google Workspace Account

If you wish to terminate your entire Google Workspace subscription with CommandHost:

  • Process: Once your cancellation request is processed and the 30-day notice period concludes, your master Google Workspace account will be closed within 48–72 hours.

  • Restoration: If you change your mind before the final expiration date, you may request a service restoration by opening a support ticket.

Immediate Account Deletion

If you prefer to bypass the standard off-boarding window and permanently purge your data immediately, you must open a support ticket and explicitly request: "Delete all Google Workspace data and accounts immediately."

  • Effect: This action takes effect immediately upon processing.

  • Consequences: You will be logged out, access to all data will be lost, and any incoming mail sent to your Google Workspace addresses will be instantly rejected (bounced). Please export any data you wish to keep before making this request.

  • Recovery Window: All data will be securely and permanently deleted from our partner systems within 7 days. If you request a reactivation within this 7-day window, a recovery fee will be charged to restore the account.

Note: Requesting immediate technical deletion of data does not waive the financial obligations of the strict 30-day billing notice period.

Refund Policy

CommandHost does not offer refunds for unused portions of active subscriptions outside of the prorated 30-day notice credit. We highly recommend utilizing any initial setup trials or evaluating your needs carefully to ensure Google Workspace is the right fit for your organization before purchasing.
